Giving Back
At Little Stars Learning Center, we understand that the secret to living is giving. Our teachers and Leadership Team participate in a variety of events benefitting non-profit
organizations. Whether it’s passing out treats to our community, collecting toys for children who otherwise wouldn’t have presents on Christmas morning, or raising money
to provide hot Thanksgiving meals to a family going through a hard time- we understand. Giving back to the community is something we all can do and is a great way to learn compassion, kindness, and generosity.

Since 2021, Little Stars teamed up with Hands of Hope Harwich Food Pantry. With the generosity of our Little Stars Families, we have raised almost $1,000 for families in need of Thanksgiving meals. With this amount we were able to feed numerous families in the Cape Cod Area! Hands Of Hope Harwich was beyond grateful for our donation and told us we were the only childcare facility, to set up a donation drive in support of their program.

Mighty Meehan
MM5K (“Mighty Meehan”) takes place, as a result of the Meehan family wanting to pay forward all the generosity and support they, themselves received in the fight for their son’s life. They want to help the families who are still continuing the fight against childhood and infant leukemia. This year four members of our staff, and members of their families, participated in the 5K run.

Holiday Wishes Toy Drive
Little Stars Learning Center is proud to participate in our annual holiday toy drive, benefitting the Plymouth Area Coalition Holiday Wishes Program. The primary goal of the Holiday Wishes Program, is that through the gift of a new toy, we can help bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to less fortunate children.

Make A Wish - Letters to Santa
Little Stars is a proud participant in the Make-A-Wish “Letters to Santa” campaign. For every letter a child writes, Macy’s donates $1.00 to the “Make-A-Wish” Foundation. Make-A-Wish is on a mission to grant the wish of every eligible child, because kids need a wish to give them strength and help them heal. Since 2017, Little Stars has mailed over 250 letters to the “North Pole”.
